Thanks
for stopping by, if you're here today you probably found me through
Carrie Ann Ryan's New Year Blog Hop. I hope you see something you like
and follow me.
As the calendar changes we all think back.
The year flew by, we lasted a few weeks on the last resolution we made and we begin the New Year with a clean slate.
What happened last year is done and we look forward to what the New Year will bring. The past was chaotic as usual. Nothing goes as planned and now we look forward.
I don’t have a lot of stories about New Year’s parties where I woke up naked with car keys in my ass or knocking on the wrong door at three AM, drunk and horny.
What I do have is memories of hanging out with the family and being thankful we made it another year without driving each other completely crazy.
I wish you all the best of luck this 2012.
We’ll all be on that diet for a few weeks and then fall off the wagon as we pass the Cinnabon.

Did you make any New Years resolutions this year?
My 2012 is starting out with a new book releasing from Samhain Publishing on January 17th~
Ownership comes with a price. Make sure you’re prepared to pay it.
Friends with benefits? Eric and Lauren are definitely that. A Friday night, a hotel, and a night of hot, satisfying sex. That’s it. Recently, though, Eric finds himself wanting more. More time, more fun, more Lauren.
Trouble is, she’s all tied up in her career, totally uninterested in getting tied down. How will she react when he musters up the guts to ask her for what he really wants: her to be completely his for one weekend. To let him own her, body and soul.
Lauren is sure Eric is just overthinking their strictly casual relationship. Still, the thought of doing exactly what he wants, whenever and wherever he wants, intrigues her. What’s not to like about letting go, handing everything over to a man she trusts in every way?
Their getaway is more sensual, more daring, more perfect than either of them anticipated. Until that most feared of emotions raises its head and takes aim at their hearts.
Product Warnings
Contains references to ownership, domination and complete submission; extra panties may be required, along with ice. This is not a book about training your pets, so treats and squeaky toys are not necessary, unless you’re into that...

My resolutions are to eat healthier and lose some weight. I'll probably do good for a couple of months then I'll fall off the wagon.
ReplyDeletesstrode at scrtc dot com
I don't really think of them as resolutions because I make the same ones every year. Try to be a better person, write more, draw more, paint more, exercise and eat better. I did change one this year though. Instead of try to stop smoking this year I have continue to not smoke. So that's one thing to start the year off right with.
ReplyDeletea_breen87@yahoo(dot)com
I really have not made resolutions before, but this year, as I get older, I realize I should probably lose some weight, I'm going to try for a small amount like 10lbs and we'll see how that goes :)

I don't really make resolutions, too easy to break. I do generally try to just make life changes for the better. Some of my goals this year include getting healthier (eating better, exercising more, losing weight), finding something daily to be thankful for, work on making my future more secure, etc.

Y2K was the most memorable for me. I got to spend it with my husband, brothers, father and step mom. We went to a party for New Years eve and went to the Rose Parade for New Years Morning. We got to sit in the stands to watch the parade, got a continental breakfast before the parade, a hot brunch after the parade, and a souvenir of the occasion. It was the best time of all since my brother, father and step mom all lived in Texas and I live in Pasadena, CA. It was my first time going to the parade where I didn't have to camp on the street just to save a place to see the parade. Let me tell you, that's not something you want to do unless you are young. It gets way too cold for these old bones. LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and thanks for the chance to win such a great prize.
